Product Description
Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone
Combining a true condenser capsule and ultralow-noise circuitry, the Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone offers a warm, clear, and quiet sonic signature that makes it popular for voice and instrument capture at home or in the studio. Plus, its bundle of accessories—shock mount, pop filter, XLR cable, and dust cover—helps the Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone serve vocalists, rappers, and podcasters especially well.
With low noise being a top priority of the Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone, its 1″ gold-sputtered capsule is internally shock-mounted to further isolate it from handling and vibration noise. Additionally, the mic’s cardioid polar pattern naturally rejects a good deal of sound behind it, which yields less background noise and room sound than other patterns such as omnidirectional and figure-8. Since it can run on 24 or 48 VDC phantom power, the Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone can be used with a variety of professional and entry-level XLR mic preamps.
Large-Diaphragm True Condenser
This true condenser (externally biased) features a 1″ gold-sputtered diaphragm that provides a broad frequency response, wide dynamic range, and excellent signal-to-noise ratio.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The cardioid polar pattern of the Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone effectively minimizes off-axis noises such as room ambiance, monitor bleed, and instruments behind the mic.
Transformerless Output
The transformerless output electronics result in an ultralow-noise output (just 5 dBA) while maintaining maximum signal gain.
48V Phantom Power
The Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone operates reliably on 24 or 48 VDC phantom power, which can be supplied via most XLR-connected mic preamps, mixer channels, or audio interfaces.
Accessory Package
The accessory package includes a studio-grade shock mount with an integrated pop filter, a premium 20′ XLR mic cable, a dust cover, and a downloadable instructional video packed with recording tips.
