Digital Matte Box M2

The Digital Matte Box M2 is a 15mm rod mount, swing-away matte box for lenses with 86mm or smaller filter threads. It includes top, bottom, and adjustable side flags. The side flags contract to allow additional configurations. They’re each made up of an upper and lower section, and the lower section slides upwards and tightens into position by an integrated thumbscrew. The frame, flags, and rod mount are all aluminum, and the matte box is made of ABS plastic.

Two 360° rotating filter holders both support 4 x 4″ and 4 x 5.6″ filters. Two cowls are included for different-sized lenses for keeping stray light from entering between the lens and the matte box. The rod mount features a swing-away capability that allows easier lens swaps, and it’s adjustable in height by 20mm to support different lenses.
